Let me first thank you for giving me a hearing...

We have a fellow TGP member, Eddie Hoh (a.k.a 'Ed') who is facing a crisis and I would like to ask in good faith for anybody to step out and lend a helping hand. You may not know Eddie personally but I hope you can be empathetic about this.

Eddie's son, Ryan Hoh (about 6 months old), is now lying in the children's ICU ward of KKH as he is suffering from a blood disorder disease which affects his immunity system. Ryan is already having some infections in his body as he has little or no immunity against the antigens. A bone marrow transplant is needed for this few months old baby.

2 main struggles are the finding of a suitable bone marrow and the financial difficulties now lie on the family.

You may be well aware that the odds of finding a suitable bone marrow donor is great (I read that it is 1 of 20000). And the doctors also said that they will look from other countries as the possibility of finding a suitable one locally is very low. The estimated bill that we are looking at is $100,000.

Even with the insurance they bought for Ryan and the help they may get from the social workers there, they are still far from the estimated figure. Eddie is ready to sell his 5-room flat away. We have calculated the profitability of this option and the returns again is 'very low' (as most of the money goes back to CPF).

Please understand that stretching out your hand to strangers to ask for donations is not a very happy feeling, but looking at the urgency of the situation as I think about it everyday, it is imperative that I try to do something than sit around dreaming of a naive hope.

WTF lar. today is like. one of the most SUAY days in my life man. meh.

Okay. firstly.
Okay. went to meet luke and faiz. all the way at downtown east. which is like what? only few km away from my house. and i got lazy. so i wanted to take a cab. Woah. holyshit. sucha freakin hot weather. almost burning man. hmm. so ok. i waited for a cab under the scorching hot sun. then this family came out and waited right infront of the carpark entrace behind me. like 5 mins after i waited. and a cab came out..nothin wrong with that.. then 10-15 mins later. this indian lady. came out. right beside me.. and crossed the road.. ok she waited there for like 5 mins. then a cab came... she got it cos she was on the other side.. still okay. So. finally after like 20 mins in the burnin sun. A CAB in sight! omg. suddenly. this INDIAN AUNTY IN WHITE CAME OUT like what? 10-15metres away from me? and flagged down the cab? WTF LARRRRRR. meh. then i waited somemore somemore and somemore. then finally a cab came... meh.. what a way to start the day..

ok 2nd incidence.
luke wanted to get a cd. so we went to sembawang records in whitesands. ok. so we were lookin. and lookin. and the shop was abit squeezy. so we were standing at this corner lookin at cds. then luke and faiz was discussing. then i was behind them. so faiz was kinda blocking the way. So THIS FICKEN employee came over with a box. trying to squeeze thru. and after squeezing. he hit down the buncha cds. so i had this cup of lemon tea in my hand. i handed it to luke to help me hold it. i helped the ficken employee pick up the cd. HE FUCKING SNATCHED IT AWAY FROM ME?! wtf.? so i started tellin luke. WTF is his prob. he freakin squeezed thru and he knocked it down himself. lets go CD rama la. fucked up employee. freakin short fart. i know. i was abit harsh. but. WTF i was tryin to help. and there he was snatching the cd from me?! WTF? ok. as if i wasnt unlucky enough...

3rd incidence.
Ok. we were leaving and walkin home.. so we reached this traffic light. it was already blinking. but we crossed it anyway. so it turned red man. when we were in the middle. so we hurried. then this ficken taxi driver. started horning,then he accelerated then jammed on his brakes right infront of us. then i walked faster. then when i turned back. HE FUCKIN FLIPPED OFF AT ME?! wtf? pointed a middle finger at me? and think i didnt notice? omg. shit man.

too bad for them. im gonna report! MUahahahaha! i'm evil! woo! SCREW YOU FUCKED UP RUDE EMPLOYEES. AND RUDE TAXI DRIVERS. people. his number plate was SHA1713U. muhahahahaha! ok. cheers. time to go make a report.
